Hung a fluorescent fitting above my bed recently. To specify which one, it is the one I reballasted. I realize I haven't talked about that. Point is I pulled a Lithonia shop light from the garbage and put in a better, stronger ballast. It is legal to dumpster dive in my state.

Time is a weird thing. Sometimes it can go agonizingly slow, other times so fast that it can make the room feel like it's spinning. Scary to think about Sometimes. I thought again about how in about 9 years time I'll be 37. I'm currently 28. I know this is probably 1/3

Here is a pic I took a good while ago. These fittings I found were in that dumpster they are leaning against in the photo. All old fluorescent fittings. The one on the far right I tried to take home with me but when I realized there was no way, I just removed the parts from all 3

The lamps used were ones I had lying around, one was a sylvania cool white deluxe and if I recall correctly the other bulb as a General electric 40 watt, also cool white.
