Governor @henrymcmaster is right:
“The rules on joint and several liability have introduced an element of uncertainty in our State. And uncertainty is the enemy of prosperity.”
It’s time to stand for South Carolina. It’s time to pass S. 244.

Thank you, Director Floyd and Lt. Governor Evette for visiting our store in Greenville. We are proud to provide these type of opportunities in retail to the young people of South Carolina! CC: @SCRetailAssn @BobbyBoaenTHD @chrisabdella @HomeDepotGR
Lt. Governor @PamelaEvette and @SCDEWinfo Executive Director William Floyd visited Greenville’s The Home Depot this afternoon along with @wyffnews4 anchor Jane Robelot to learn about its youth employment opportunities and career development pathways as part of the Lt. Governor’s Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders initiative. They heard from leadership and store associates about the skills younger employees are developing by working there and even got to wear the well-known orange aprons!
This trip was just one of many our agency and the Lt. Governor plan to conduct across the state in the coming months as we speak with employers and their young employees about soft skills, the benefits of joining the workforce as a young person, and more.
