We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of His Royal Highness, Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh. There is a sombre mood across the force today as our thoughts and condolences are with HM The Queen and the Royal Family at this very sad time. northyorkshire.police.uk/ktg…

Great effort yesterday with our litter pick and thankfully it stayed dry. All this rubbish was spoiling our rural countryside. 🗑👍
Lovely walk and pick near the River Swale this morning. 7 bags later (and a strimmer and a mop 🤦🏻♀️) #LitterHeroes #cleanerhambleton #womblepower #lovewhereyoulive #KeepBritainTidy #LitterHeroesAmbassadors

Established an SC Focus group who are going to explore a variety of issues which will help shape future SC developments. Its a really enthusiastic group of Specials & I look forward to seeing what ideas they generate.
Thank you for your selfless service over the last 8 years Mike. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were working through your SOLAP and now you are supporting our student officers as they start their policing journey which is fantastic & a bit wild! #SpecialContribution 💙
