Hey #HaltonHills! @CVC_CA has issued a Flood Outlook Statement in effect through to end of Friday, April 4, 2025. We ask residents, and particularly children, to keep a safe distance from watercourses, including bridges, culverts and dams. Slippery conditions make these locations unsafe. For more information on actions you can take, the roles of conservation authorities and government, please visit the Town’s webpage on flooding at bit.ly/4i314ix
FLOOD WATCH: The Credit River Watershed has received various rainfall amounts, significant (up to 70 mm) in some parts of the watershed. The water levels of several watercourses are exceeding bankfull capacities. Local streams and rivers will become dangerous, especially in the vicinity of culverts, bridges and dams. People should be warned to stay away from all watercourses, especially children and pets. #ONflood #ONStorm files.cvc.ca/cvc/uploads/202…
