Had a blast doing this! We raised over £300 for the fund, which will go directly to people who really need it in SE16
Thank you to the lovely people of the @SE16CF (especially Hannah and the very highbrow quizmasters) for hosting a wonderful pub quiz tonight - though I may get disowned by my partner for my tombola prize! All for a very worthy cause.

Very excited for this! Hopefully we can put on an entertaining quiz, and it's in a very good cause. The spike in the cost of living makes funds like this even more important.
We have very exciting news…….
We are hosting a fundraising quiz night on 23 March at 7pm at The Miller pub @themillerpub.
Excellently hosted by the hosts of @FilmChatPodcast, come along and join the SE16 Community Fund as we test our film knowledge.

Watch our #BasicIncomeConversation video here and learn more about the work of solidarity funds (and contribute to the fundraiser if you can!)👇
We've created a video to support our fundraiser! Created by a very talented @BrentSolFund we spoke to fund admins, exspensers & donors about why the Solidarity funds are important and the impact that receiving a small unconditional payment has made to them youtu.be/ODsQXfrYWBg

With the Government stripping people of the £20 a week Universal Credit uplift, additional financial support for our neighbours is incredibly relevant. This Universal Basic Income pilot shows the impact that even £50 a month could have.

Working with the Basic Income Conversation @CompassOffice and other funds from the London Solidarity Fund Federation @brentsolfund @NewhamSFund @FundGoose @SE16CF we will be crowdfunding £10,000 in order to ensure that we can provide all our applicants with funds for one month.
