BIG NEWS: SpaceX has given me approval to fly their locations and bring updates to their locations without TFRs! Thank you Brian, James, and SpaceX Security for helping set up this program. It really means a lot to me. You guys rock!
SPACEX: For my first flight I went to the Starlink / Starmind Campus in Bastrop, Texas. There is a ton of work taking place. Here is a list of the build sites currently underway.
- Solar Ingots and Wafers Facility: This is for upstream silicon production for ingots and wafers that feed solar cell manufacturing. SpaceX is well into the groundworks as they clear and level a massive plot next to the Solar Cell Factory. They will both eventually be connected.
- Solar Cells Factory: This is a ~1.1–1.5 million sq ft multi-floor structure currently under construction south of the main Starlink plant. It is designed for high-volume solar cell output with a target ~10 GW/year. Much of the outer walls, windows, and roof is installed.
- Starlink Factory: This is the OG building that has undergone multiple expansions. It houses high-volume Starlink kit production, printed circuit boards, and semiconductor packaging.
- Warehouse and AI Satellite Development Facility: It is described in conceptual layouts for storage, AI satellite R&D, and related operations. This building has gone up super fast. It started months after the Solar Cells Factory and is now well beyond it.
- Starmind / AI Satellite Production Factory: This area is still grass with a small section near the highway now be cleared and leveled. It will be the large-scale Starmind satellite manufacturing building.

Forget nature, it's the rest that makes it either a great place or a dump
Today I early voted in Texas. Straight Republican. Dems are not worth the risk to all the great builders and projects here. Can't stop, won't stop.
The Boring Company's airport tunnel looks good to go!
UPDATE BORING COMPANY Las Vegas Loop Westgate airport tunnel.
This looks completely finished. No one working on any construction here. The Loop is running today but this tunnel is not being used.
My guess is they are waiting to finish the new underground area of the Central Station which is now a parking lot again.
I won’t report on this station again until the tunnel to the airport opens.

Spent the day at The Boring Company in Bastrop, Texas. The pace is hard to appreciate until you see it firsthand.
Concrete trucks, cranes, and talented engineers everywhere. Relentless construction.
Moving atoms at the speed of bits.
Left with even more conviction. Long Boring Co.

It's the best investment ever if you follow Elon's enterprises. Even if you don't have time to read every edition, it's there to revisit and see what happened.

I was just there today!
Wild amount of active construction. Elon, as expected, is running a tight ship in Bastrop.
