This week in DT, we have made our party hats! Some of us made them for celebrations such as birthday parties, Christmas parties and parties with our families!

We had a talk this morning all about Diwali, we had a look very closely at some Diyas and said what we liked about them “yellow” “the glitter” “the flower at the bottom” 🎆

We had lots of fun exploring our autumn theme provision last week and sharing our autumn treasure bags from our weekly challenge🍁

Last week, we learnt a song named “Let’s do the flip” to help us remember the steps of putting our coats on independently😁

This week in our ICT, we have taken photographs using the class IPad! Miss Mackenzie was so impressed with the children’s photography skills🤩

This week in phonics we have looked at words that rhyme. Here are some superstars practicing finding a rhyming pair during provision time🤩

To celebrate St Francis Day, we worked together to make our very own bird feeders! Nursery were very excited to take these home and show their adults☺️

This week during class worship time, we have thanked God for the different fruits and vegetables🥕🍎

We have looked at different man-made materials In our understanding of the world leaning this week. We tried to scrunch and bend the materials, some materials felt ‘very hard’ and ‘cold’.

We joined together for our first class worship, we were very excited to watch the flame and discussed how it was getting ‘bigger’ and ‘smaller’. We joined together in prayer to thank God for the fruits and flowers 💐 Some children thanked God for ‘music’🎶

After our technology hunt, we had so much fun exploring the phone books and carefully dialling the numbers in the telephones. We are hoping Grandpa Pig will come and read us a story one day🤞🏼

Dough disco fun! We took our finger family for a walk before singing our favourite dough disco song🎶

So far we are enjoying our story ‘Shark in the Park’ this week, we have certainly been getting creative in drawing club🤩

Yesterday these superstars used our multi link cubes to make a ‘long tower’. They then wanted to see if their tower was taller than them! Miss Mackenzie was super impressed🤩

This morning we had so much fun taking part in the activities to support National School Sports Week 2024. We enjoyed passing the ball to our friends and working together as a team to score goals😁

This afternoon we enjoyed some gross motor activities in the sunshine 🤩

Yesterday afternoon we had lots of fun with Ms Ingram in our creative area making junk models in art! Here are some of our wonderful creations 🐠 🦋

So far this week, have enjoyed listening to our new story ‘Tiddler The Story Telling Fish’. During our literacy lessons, we have had so much fun creating our under the sea small world🐙🐳🐟
