Year Two

Year 2 have been busy writing their seaside postcards today.

Year 2 enjoyed jumping over and from apparatus safely in gymnastics 🤸‍♀️

In RE, Year 2 have been retelling the story of Daniel and the Lions.

We have really enjoyed making our final pieces in Design Technology.

Today we have learnt about Mary Seacole as part of Black History Month.

In our reading session today we look at at an information text about materials and discussed lots of new vocabulary.

We have been planning our postcards this week in English.

Learning jumping and balancing skills in gymnastics in Year 2.

In RE this afternoon we have been retelling the story of Moses.

We have created some lovely artwork based on our school mission.

In RE this week we have been reflecting on the different ways Abraham showed his faith to God.

We have learnt lots of facts about the Titanic disaster in History.

We had lots of fun writing and performing our own poems this morning!

Today we have been counting in 2’s 5’s and 10’s in maths.

We have been exploring our new text this week in our reading sessions. Today we focused on finding verbs in the postcards.

This afternoon we have been finding out about Neil Armstrong and Christopher Columbus!

Year 3 worked hard to practise tucks and rolls in Gymnastics today.

Year 2 loved being investigative scientists and explored the materials outside and inside school and raised and discussed fantastic questions! 🔎

In maths this week we have been estimating using number lines.

We had fun exploring different joining techniques this afternoon in design technology. Look at our super structures and terrific teamwork!
