In addition to being a cheerleader for the genocide of Palestinians, Scott has personally gotten people fired from their jobs for expressing support for a free Palestine and he pushed (& passed) legislation making it illegal for CA schools to teach the truth about Israel
Replying to @Scott_Wiener
Scott Wiener is Israel First. He has helped lead the charge in California attempting to conflate anti-Zionism with antisemitism in effort to ban criticism of the Israeli apartheid state.

I’ve heard many opponents of the Prop 40 billionaire tax say they favor a national tax, but not a state one, b/c ppl will flee California
But the anti-Prop 40 campaign doesn’t see it that way
It hopes Prop 40 loses so “decisively” it will “chill wealth-tax efforts nationally”

Trump forcing 🫵 you to pay more for healthcare? Millions of Californians will be—we're falling backwards and losing care when we should be expanding #MedicareforAll
I trust Connie Chan to make it happen because I saw how State Sen Wiener fumbled CalCare.

San Francisco's and Oakland's mayors both want more power this year.
They took opposite roads to get there:
While Daniel Lurie's campaign paid for canvassers, Barbara Lee put herself in the hot seat for tough questions — and public debate.
missionlocal.org/2026/10/dan…
Whatever Daniel Lurie says, it actually means the opposite
Lurie’s team has been spending millions to convince the voters to give the mayor more power.
To soften the image, the billionaire-backed campaign has been saying that key oversight commissions will remain “independent.”
That’s demonstrably false.

California Proposition 45 is a handout to allow for more data centers and more pollution. I am a strong No.
Join the firefighters, nurses, environmentalists, & working families fighting to stop Prop 45 from giving a green light to corporate polluters.

Money in. Money out. @Scott_Wiener is a high yield savings account for billionaire elites and techies with a net worths north of $20M.
AI corporations & their employees pouring money into electing @Scott_Wiener expect him to make them MORE money. Like an investment.💰
We CANNOT trust him to put artists, musicians, and our privacy ahead of his donors’ return. @freemarketfail 🙏

Why is @PPActionCA taking an official position on Prop 40? And why is that position 'no'?

We are 1 week out from election day, and we need all hands on deck for our endorsed campaigns. We need YOUR help in this final stretch to make sure San Franciscans don't fall for the lies being spun by the oligarchs and tech elites. Fill out this form and join us!

Scott Wiener is trying to glom onto the legacy of Harvey Milk, but the Dem club that Milk started unendorsed him and has essentially kicked him out. Scott hates the working class. The only people Scott has made SF better for are real estate speculators and tech oligarchs.
This campaign is for all of us. Decades of fights for equality and dignity, decades of resistance, decades of survival — San Francisco has always led the fight for LGBTQ equality. It’s time we had a seat at the table in Congress, and I will take all our voices with me to defend LGBTQ people from the vicious attacks we’re facing today.

so this deregulation applies not just to housing, but any kind of project in SF, including things like data centers. the headline is that it removes review of shade as an environmental impact, but it also reduces the time for public input from 30 days to 15, among other changes
I signed the Slashing Housing Appeals and Delays Everywhere (SHADE) Act, legislation that makes it easier to build housing.
This new law will make the environmental review process faster and less expensive while maintaining strong environmental protections. Written by District 5 Supervisor Bilal Mahmood, it aligns San Francisco’s environmental review requirements with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and associated state guidelines.
For decades, San Francisco has made it easier to block housing than to build it. Now, we are using every tool available to build more housing more quickly, and this is just the latest example.
I want to thank Supervisor Mahmood for his leadership on this legislation and for helping our city unlock the potential for new homes in our neighborhoods.

What a joke. #KatiePorter is now using the cred she built posturing as a representative of regular people to help capitalist billionaires screw regular people. #PSA
Thank you for calling it out, Saikat.
The arguments against Prop 40 don’t make any sense, and it’s sad to see folks I respected seem to cave to the billionaire agenda. Prop 40 generates $100 billion to make sure millions of Californians are insured. Yes, we can still do better, but to deny health care right now in favor of a solution in the future makes no sense.
Vote YES on Prop 40
Vote NO on Prop 41 & 42

Beat Wiener, please!!!!!
Scott Wiener leads Connie Chan in all published polls, mostly within the margin of error.
Chan, however, tends to outperform her poll numbers at the ballot box because a key group of her supporters is often missing from polls.

Didn't realize this guy is one of those Zionist pricks who falsely accuses everyone who supports human rights for Palestinians of being antisemitic but here we are
Replying to @fawfulfan
Why a small, hardcore group of leftists on here hate Wiener so much is a bit harder to fathom.
As best I can tell, it's because he's Jewish and a certain group of leftists see voting against Jews as a proxy for punishing Israel.
