When Ludovic Mbock, an expert Street Fighter player, was detained by ICE office in Baltimore, a network of video game players located him and raised money to retain an immigration attorney, who was able to have him released. wapo.st/3PrsKEP

Today, I went to where I imagined being shelved at my childhood Barnes & Noble in Oxford Valley, PA. Except this time, 14 years later, I actually was.

MARCH 21ST!!!!!!
We’re hosting a CFGC Fundraiser Event to help players make it to Spring LAN Finals at Ferris State this April
Because let’s be real… some of our players got top 8 talent but bottom 8 bank accounts
What’s happening:
• 3v3 Team Event
• Podcast (going over top seeds vs dark horses)
• YAPPERS vs SCRUBS showmatch (Will Alby throw again?!)
All proceeds go toward helping players actually get to LAN
Pull up, donate, or just watch chaos unfold!

EVERYBODY SAY “THANK YOU” TO @Aeriqui RIGHT THE FUCK NOW AND TELL HIM TO EXHALE DEEPLY AND DRINK SOME WATER
One of the leading organizers of #FREELUD and the actual architect behind most of the updates I’ve posted. A fucking hero as far as I’m concerned.
When we fight we win y'all! Lud was granted an extremely low bond and we are in the process of bringing him home. We celebrate today but the fight continues for justice in May! #FREELUD now and forever

#FREELUD UPDATE:
Ludovic’s bond hearing is on Friday!
This does not change the fact that he is still expected in court for a deportation hearing in May, even if he is released.
The fight is not over, but we are hopeful that he will be free of ICE custody soon. Keep fighting!
