Once Apple gives the green light, anyone with an iPhone can walk outside and start catching stocks, no wallet needed. iPhone people, start stretching your legs. Touch Grass is about to go global.

Google Maps today allows basically anyone to leave a review without ever proving they were actually there. Someone sitting in Australia can drop a terrible review about a pizzeria in Rome without ever stepping in Europe. Now imagine reviews backed by Touch $GRASS. Only people who physically visited the pizzeria or any other business like a hotel, store or venue could leave a verified review. Two UPDATES going live tonight. 1. Every catch will pay. Until now, each hour had a fixed budget for refilling the drops. Once it ran out, anyone arriving at a store/drop location got rejected with a “budget spent” message. Well, that's not happening anymore... Here’s how it will work from tomorrow: each hour has a pot of rewards, shared between everyone who catches during that specific 1 hour period. If you are the only one Touching $GRASS during that hour, you get the full-size reward, same as today. However, during busier hours, that 1-hour pot will be split between everyone catching, meaning you will get a reduced percentage of the stock. The pin on the map will show the live amount/value of each stock before you walk to your catch. It can drop a little if a crowd shows up while you’re on your way. But the moment you tap to catch, your amount is locked in. 2. Holding gets you full-size drops. Hold on to what you catch instead of selling it and you will keep getting full-size rewards. However, if you sell your whole catch right away, you’ll be downgraded to the smaller payout tier new users get until you start holding again. The rule is simple: keep at least 50% of what you catch in your wallet and your catches stay at the regular tier. Sell more than 50% and you drop to the newcomer tier i.e. 15% of the full-size amount, until you are holding again. And just to clarify... What each hour pays out isn’t a number we decide randomly. It comes from the trading fees from the $GRASS pools, plus what our treasury holds. Every time someone buys or sells $GRASS, a percentage of those fees flows into the pot. More trading volume means bigger pots and higher payouts.
