Notre Dame officially unveiled the Jack & Kathy Shields Family Hall today. The new football facility reportedly cost $100 million and is expected to be one of college football’s premier athletic facilities. The complex includes an advanced training room, a standalone sports medicine facility, an equipment center with body-scanning and fabrication technology, an expanded locker room, and multiple meeting spaces — including a two-level, all-team auditorium and an augmented reality walkthrough room. It also features media innovation spaces with recording and photo studios, academic support areas and a new player nutrition center.
