So here’s my challenge to admins this year: Spend time in classrooms! It helps you connect with both kids & teachers. It reminds you of the awesome work your teachers do & it reinforces for you the many challenges they face. If you’re an administrator, please be in classrooms.

Some kids are gonna need extra help with their work this year … just like some teachers are gonna need extra help figuring out how to change their computer login. We all appreciate the patience of those around us. And sometimes... we all need others to cut us some slack.

Just incase you were wondering if you should or shouldn’t. You’ve maybe been waiting patiently for a sign and then ... BOOM... this enters your feed. Time to go for it. Fear not. Take the risk. This is your moment. This is your sign and it’s time to shine. #JoyfulLeaders

No matter what happens today, remember... You might not be able to control all of yours circumstance but you can control how you respond to them. Pause. Look for the good. Trust in a bigger plan. Respond instead of react.
