State Secretary Tamara Weingerl Požar will hold regular bilateral consultations in Hungary.
She will meet with Dr Klára Breuer, State Secretary at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Dr András Bíró-Nagy, State Secretary for European Affairs at the Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary.
On the sidelines of the visit, she will also meet with Karel Holc, the representative of the Slovenian national minority in the Hungarian Parliament.

Minister @TKajzer held an introductory meeting with the Secretary General of the @rccint, @amer_kap. They discussed #EU enlargement, reconciliation in the #WesternBalkans and regional cooperation.
Minister Kajzer stressed: “Without security & mutual trust, there can be no economic cooperation or investment. At the same time, it is important that our projects for young people in the region deliver tangible results.”
Secretary General Kapetanović thanked 🇸🇮 for its consistent support for #EU enlargement to the #WesternBalkans and emphasised that #Slovenia is an important and trusted advocate of the 🇪🇺 enlargement process, thanks to its deep understanding of the region.

State Secretary Tamara Weingerl Požar met in Budapest with Dr Klára Breuer, State Secretary at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr András Bíró-Nagy, State Secretary in the Office of the Hungarian Prime Minister, and Karel Holec, representative of the Slovenian national minority in the Hungarian Parliament.
The discussions focused on:
✅ strengthening bilateral cooperation,

✅ current European affairs, and
✅ the protection of national minority rights.
#AGRIFISH | At #AGRIFISH in Luxembourg, Minister Janez Cigler Kralj stressed in his doorstep before the meeting that Slovenia’s 🇸🇮 commitment to a strong, common and adequately funded #CAP after 2027, ensuring stable farm incomes, competitiveness and food security.
🇸🇮 could support the compromise proposal, provided no major changes undermine its key solutions. Priorities include greater flexibility to reflect national specificities, better targeted support and simpler rules for farmers, alongside support for young farmers and farming in areas facing natural constraints.

🇸🇮 Minister @TKajzer attended the 12.th Berlin Process Summit in Budva, reaffirming that the future of the Western Balkans lies in the EU.
Slovenia strongly supports EU 🇪🇺enlargement as a strategic investment in peace, security and stability across Europe. Gradual integration is highly important to give tangible benefits to citizens before entering EU 🇪🇺. The Minister welcomed Montenegro’s 🇲🇪 progress towards EU membership and reaffirmed Slovenia’s support for its ambition to join the EU 🇪🇺 in 2028.
He also highlighted the importance of regional cooperation, cyber resilience, good-neighbourly relations and opportunities for young people.
