My inaugural case on twitter. A true mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma (amphicrine type) showing bivalent endocrine and exocrine differentiation. The tumour looked like a typical adenocarcinoma with focal areas demonstrating an organoid growth pattern.
Synaptophysin and chromogranin are diffusely positive. Mucicarmine shows the presence of mucin droplets.
MIB-1 proliferation index=49.7%
