MEDIEVAL WARFARE IN THE HOLY LAND AGAIN??
I just wanted to attach a few videos that have been going viral. We see our soldiers using a medieval-style trebuchet, slings, and bow and arrows to launch flaming projectiles over the border wall into Lebanon to start brush fires.
Putting aside how funny this looks, it serves the practical purpose of burning away the heavy brush that leads up the wall, which gives the soldiers a much clearer view of anyone approaching the border. This might also be in preparation for a ground operation and is “cleaning” the surface for visibility and attack purposes.
Still, it was very interesting to see the creative ways that our soldiers accomplished the mission. Some things never change…..

Israeli media outlets have confirmed that some IDF units operating along the border with Lebanon are now using unorthodox methods to “clear brush” along the border to “prevent H▪️zbollah fighters from infiltrating” into Israel as tensions between the two have escalated in the last few days.
Video we’ve obtained shows IDF units using trebuchets, flaming arrows, and what appears to be a modified version of a Molatov cocktail being launched from a mortar cannon. while unorthodox, we have seen trebuchets used in Syria (2013).
According to the Israeli news outlet KAN News, “This is a local initiative and not a tool that is widely used.” They added, “The area on the Lebanese border is characterized by boulders, thickets, and dense thorn vegetation, which poses a challenge to the IDF troops deployed in defense.”

وفي الوقت الذي تتوالى فيه انتصارات ابطال جهاز المخابرات الوطني العراقي على قوى الارهاب والظلام والتكفير فهم يعاهدون أبناء شعبهم الكريم على المضي بملاحقة هؤلاء المجرمين واصطيادهم واحداً تلو الاخر وعداً قطعوه على انفسهم وبذلوا الغالي والنفيس للايفاء به.
