I’LL NEVER BE THE SAME — WHEN JESUS CHANGES EVERYTHING! 📖 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV Have you ever looked back at your life and wondered how you even survived some of the roads you traveled? The mistakes. The broken relationships. The choices you wish you could undo. The seasons when you were running from God instead of running toward Him. SOMETIMES THE HARDEST PERSON TO FORGIVE IS THE PERSON WE USED TO BE! I know what it’s like to grow up hearing God’s Word, knowing the truth, and still choosing to walk away. I know what it’s like to carry shame, disappointment, and the consequences of my own decisions. But I also know what happens when a wandering heart finally surrenders to Jesus. HE DOESN’T JUST OFFER US A BETTER VERSION OF OUR OLD LIFE. HE OFFERS US NEW LIFE IN HIM! Think about Saul of Tarsus. He persecuted Christians and believed he was doing what was right. But on the road to Damascus, he encountered the risen Jesus. (Acts 9:1–19) The man who once persecuted the church became a man who proclaimed the very Savior he had opposed. ONE ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS CHANGED THE DIRECTION OF HIS ENTIRE LIFE! Now, that doesn’t mean every struggle disappeared overnight. Transformation is a journey. We still have battles to fight, habits to surrender, and lessons to learn. But when we belong to Christ, our past no longer has to control our future. 📖 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before…” — Philippians 3:13 KJV And here’s something else I’ve learned. NOT EVERYONE WILL CELEBRATE THE PERSON YOU’VE BECOME. Some people will keep reminding you of who you used to be. Some will question whether you’ve really changed. And some may never see you beyond your worst mistakes. But your identity in Christ isn’t determined by their approval. YOU DON’T HAVE TO RETURN TO YOUR OLD LIFE JUST BECAUSE SOMEBODY REFUSES TO RECOGNIZE YOUR NEW ONE! Let your actions reflect your repentance. Let your words reflect His truth. Let your life become a testimony of His grace. ❓ QUESTION OF THE DAY: Are you still allowing your past to define you, or are you living in the freedom and new identity Jesus offers? 🙏 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me enough to call me out of my old life. Keep transforming my heart, renewing my mind, and helping me walk faithfully with Jesus. In His mighty name, Amen! ❤️ I’M NOT PROUD OF EVERY ROAD I’VE WALKED, BUT I’LL NEVER BE ASHAMED OF THE SAVIOR WHO BROUGHT ME HOME! MY PAST IS PART OF MY TESTIMONY, BUT JESUS CHRIST IS THE REASON I’LL NEVER BE THE SAME! 🔥✝️❤️
