Very touched to see my Dad, Rob Bednarek, included in this @Via_Satellite list. I learned from the best how to challenge the status quo and support innovation in space. As a kid it was a privilege to tag along with Dad to work so often. Among other things as a kid taking naps under conference room tables during his customer negotiations, standing in the back of the control room for middle of the night satellite operations, and witnessing a launch failure taught me a whole lot about hard work and perseverance. Miss him everyday.
