The world will be crueler now. Won’t be just Trump but the license he provides to the miscreants.

For example, this district went from 34% to 45% for Trump, but there were -5 Trump voters in 2024 versus -225 Harris voters xitter.cf/SR_spatial/status/1854…

You can see the vote counts and %s in each election district in NYC at our map here: electionatlas.nyc/maps.html#… The dropoff in Dem voters moreso than Trump gains has been highlighted in some local media reports, eg ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/mor… & patch.com/new-york/new-york-…

Thanks! Slowly but surely getting results in -- as Steven mentioned, LI can be slow with getting data. I'm waiting on Suffolk there, but have Nassau, so NY-04 is in: benjrosenblatt.com/2024gener…

When will we know election results? We don’t know when exactly we’ll see a presidential winner declared, but we should expect votes to be counted for at least a few days after election night. (1/3)

if the nyt workers are able to successfully prevent the needle from being published it will be one of the greatest achievements for organized labor since the invention of the weekend

As a result, I do not know whether we will be able to publish the needle. There are good reasons to bet against it, though perhaps there are scenarios where things are running super smoothly; alternately, we hit bugs at the start and there's no chance.
