Man Utd are proof that history can be glorious while the present is stuck buffering. Every season starts with “This is our year” and ends with “at least we’ve got the memories.” Truly innovative - finding a new way to lower expectations every week.
Bristol Rovers 0-0 Swindon Town.
A point away from home, four points on the road this week and a clean sheet. Ripley made key saves, but Swindon had chances to win it too. Solid defensively, wasteful in front of goal. A decent result, if not a classic. #STFC 🔴⚪
@ripley_connor now has the 2nd highest match rating of a goalkeeper ever on @FotMob (9.8) with an XG of 3.93 goals prevented and a ridiculous triple save.. One perfect 10 was done by a Brazilian goalkeeper back in 2023. MY KEEPER. 🔴⚪ #STFC
Superb effort and performance tonight. Clark’s goal will be goal of the month. What a run! Negru and Ripley superb at the back. Thomson snapping into the challenges. Drinan bagging a brace.
Where’s this Swindon been hiding?

Walsall tomorrow. What could go wrong? We’ve mastered the art of making mediocre sides look like Champions League contenders, so expect three points for them, another existential crisis for us, and Holloway explaining afterwards that we’re actually making progress.
