It was a careful balance of being supportive for Maddie and Caleb while keeping Axel occupied and happy while wondering if Evie was okay.
I get there and everybody is in a fog. Maybe shock. Like no one understood what was going on with Evie K. It seemed understated , even odd.
It was so strange.

Maddie was a rockstar in the hospital. Every two hours she got out of bed, walked to the NICU to feed Evie. Then she walked back to her bed to rest. She’s such a trooper. When the going gets tough... #SisterWives
Caleb and Maddie were on the bed just watching the nurses take care of Evie. They couldn’t bond with her right away because Evie needed so much help. It was so hard to watch. #SisterWives
I took Axel to go for a walk while Evie was being helped along by the nurses. She was monitored constantly. SisterWives
Once Caleb got there Evie was born 30 minutes later. Three hours of labor vs. Axel’s labor of 80 plus hours. #SisterWives
When Caleb walked in we all cried a little. So grateful he made it safe. I’m sure Maddie was the most grateful! #SisterWive
The midwives we’re monitoring Maddie the whole time and they felt staying in the bathtub was a good and safe thing to do while Maddie waited for Caleb. #SisterWives
I feel so blessed I was able to be there for Evie’s birth. @JanelleBrown117 and I tag teamed Maddie and Axel.
I was so glad @SWChristine2020 was there !! I needed help to be able to give the best support to Maddie. #SisterWives
