I’m not sure how you could give ChatGPT all of the context of an exist code base. Even in some of our limited testing, it will forget the context of the simple solutions it can muster up
Can anyone point me to an example, where people use ChatGPT to work with an existing code base? All I can find are just "todo list" projects from scratch #SoftwareDeveloper #SoftwareEngineer #ChatGPT

Get under the wing of a good senior dev and they’ll have you on your way in no time. Not to mention one of the best trainings for devs is trial by fire in my opinion
You will learn more in a month working as a developer than learning by yourself for a year Prioritize getting that first job

Personally I would lean towards the strongly typed language, Java first then delve into Python as well!

If used correctly it can help developers as well!
No, ChatGPT will neither replace Google nor it will help you earn thousands of dollars. It can make you more productive, that’s it!

When working on a task and it's not a critical bugfix, I always follow the rule to leave the code in a better shape than I found it. It can be a small refactor if there's not much time, but small refactors add up over time, the same as minor entanglements in logic #programming
