ALT Today is the start of a six-day Junior Doctor strike. Junior doctors make up a huge percentage of the medical workforce, with the term covering everyone who is graduated to those who have many years of experience. Warwick Hospital is already under extreme heightened pressure. We are urging the public to ensure you choose the right service for your needs. Use NHS 111 online, access GP and pharmacy services, visit the Stratford Minor Injuries Unit between 9-5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and only use 999 if it is a life-threatening emergency. If you require care during the industrial strike period please do not put off seeking this. Please also help us to get your relatives home when they are medically fit – it is the best place for your loved one to recover. Provide transport and ensure they are going home to a warm environment that is stocked with essentials such as food, drink and medicines Thank you for your co-operation.
