Yesterday's National League Cup results and current standings 👇

Bristol City had a tricky start to the WSL2 campaign away at Sunderland yesterday 👇🏼

Taunton Town start their season with 3 points in a very good game of football from both sides.

85 - Goal Taunton!! Doherty's ball across the box isn't dealt with by the Wincanton defence; Hood picks up the ball, tricks her way into the box and finishes in the bottom corner! 🟣 3 - 1 🟡

52 - Goal Taunton!! Charter threads a ball through the Wincanton defence and Manning slots past Sanders-White! 🟣 2 - 1 🟡

Back underway! ▶️

It's level at the break ⏸

45+3 - Taunton equalise!! The ball drops to Thorne following a corner - her shot from outside the box thunders off the post and canons into the goal off Sanders-White's back! 🟣 1 - 1 🟡

33 - Wincanton score!! Against the run of play, Wincanton's no.1 (yes, she's an outfield player!) runs onto a through ball and calmly slots past Saunders! 🟣 0 - 1 🟡

We're underway!
