Thanks to all @MerycEngland for the invitation to share my research in this session yesterday evening. It was great to share my thinking on musical play in the outdoors. Great questions and discussion too. 🙂
Just 30 mins left to get your ticket for this seminar. Original EY music research study presented outdoors and music - @SWilliamsEYMus particular research interest. Very excited!

Don't miss the chance to hear @SWilliamsEYMus original research. How much focus is there on sound-play in forest schools? How does the outdoor environment stimulate/resonate with children's soundings? @_CREC @BECERAssoc @eecera @EYOutdoor @JoAlbinClark @Julie__Ovington @jjpjlp
I'll be talking about young children's musical play on 15th January 7-8pm - do come along!

This is sad news indeed. Sarah was a great leader and huge fun to work alongside. My condolences to her family and loved ones.

Very sad at the loss of Pauline Tambling. She was loved and respected by those who worked with her, including in her time at the Arts Council. Her legacy in championing opportunity for young people in the cultural sector will last.
Remembering Pauline Tambling, a pioneer in the arts and creative industries, who was the first dedicated Education leader at the ROH and went on to exert wide influence, changing the lives of generations of young people.

"Children engaged in physical, creative, imaginative play with things, other species, and with each other in emotionally charged interactions." Evocative description of outdoor play in a Norweigan kindergarten. A great read. ⬇️
