Ty Price (@TyPrice2025) from Brescia University might be the best player in NAIA. Game 1 dropped 45 points.
In 2 games he’s averaging 40 ppg on 50/42/92. Former ESPN 4 Star
There is so much talent at every level in College Hoops and this dude could play at a lot of places 🔥

I’d also like to point out that @DordtFB and @YotesFootball and the only two programs without an offensive turnover.
NAIA Football stat I love: Turnover Margin.
I calculated it so you don't have to. The Top 5 in @NAIA are:
1. @FalconsFU
2. @OttawaBravesFB
3. @GracelandFB
4. @OPSUFootball
5. @MonTechFootball

I enjoy watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football. They are my favorite NFL team.
When they score a touchdown, I think to myself, "yes."
When the other team scores a touchdown, I think to myself, "no."

A friend is head coach of a D2 football team. No money, no scholarships, nothing. Yesterday they took a 10 hour bus ride to play at 2PM Saturday, followed by a 10 hour bus ride home. They may or may not have showers available after the game. There are still coaches and players who simply love football for football and are grateful for the opportunity to be in the game.
Nearly 1,000 colleges compete in the @NAIA, @NCAADII and @NCAADIII.
The Division I financial model may be broken.
That does not mean the small-college model is.
Small colleges operate differently:
• Different economics
• Different institutional goals
• Athletics drives enrollment
• Opportunity is part of the model
The concern is that solutions built to fix Division I…through Congress, the courts or national policy…can still reach the small-college level if everyone is forced to play by the same rules.
That would be catastrophic.
We can’t break one model trying to fix another.
D-I athletics right now:
• UCLA: $219M cumulative deficit
• Rutgers: $516.9M in cumulative shortfalls since joining the Big10
• Iowa State: $147M projected budget gap
• NC State: $18.5M projected deficit
• Dozens of varsity programs eliminated in the last year
• New fees passed to fans
More money than ever, still not enough.
Fewer opportunities. Greater instability.
This isn’t what college sports should be.
