I’m not really a foldable phone fan as I seen them come in for recycling with the centres of the screens fucked. But I will admit this does tickle my brain.

Been so busy recycling everyone’s ewaste haven’t had much time to post on here! I do have a cool Japanese computer which I will show in here soon. But have a look at this insane camera that I got in a load of ewaste from the local recycling centre!

Almost cried when I saw this in the ewaste bin while doing my weekly rummage at my local recycling centre. Fished it out but she got some road rash from the few metre drop into the bin. Some how the panel survived. Has some light scratches which could be buffed out

Cool little thing came in a box of recycling. I believe it to be a control unit for fuel injection out of a 70s merc which is so cool! Deffs keeping this one

Cool little heater that was dropped off in a load of ewaste for recycling today. I’ll hold onto this one as it’s in quite good condition for its age.

The guys I know well at my town’s recycling centre that let me go through the ewaste bin had this for me. One of them found it at their house and knew I would like it. I already have one but this one is cool. Is missing its little visor thing but still cool.

Was at my local recycling centre and at the fridge pile I saw this little NEC bar fridge. It wasn’t it perfect shape but I hadn’t seen a wood grain bar fridge that small! 460mm wide by 440 tall! I wasn’t gonna take it but then it teleported into my van (hate when that happens)

Always wanted one of these 70s bar fridges and this one was too cute to leave behind. It will need a bit of cosmetic work but tho. As it needs new seals, cracks in plastic etc. Powered it up and it works! Runs on r12 refrigerant so she is definitely old. Gets nice and cold!

Welp this is a new one for me. Found a bathroom tv in the load haha. Has scart which is kinda cool. Tho it didn’t have the remote so I can’t turn it on. I’ll need to find a universal one or the actual remote.

Saved a van load of goodies from the local landfill/recycling place. The guys there know what I do and let me save stuff. But heaven forbid management a few towns over found out that I’m saving them money but not having to landfill it or smashing it up into a bin…

The towers will most likely be for parts as the cases are a bit average. There are other things like a Sony video 8 and stuff for me to go through in the load.

Had this 60” Lg Plasma tv come in for recycling. Weighed 80kgs! And sucked 650w! It did “work” but had bad burn and some other quirks. I love bulky old tech but damn haha. I’ll stick to my 50” nec plasma.

Tonight’s lil project. Had this little guy dropped off for recycling yesterday. Inside was pretty clean surprisingly as the box had ants and rat dropping in it. Box was cooked but saved the manuals and a repair receipt from 93. In person the colours are actually pretty good!

Got my 2000s plasma setup up today. Finally found a period correct stand. This NEC plasma cost $8,400 when new in 2004! The guy that dropped it off for recycling some time ago said his brother worked for NEC.
