While you are poking around the @BassCoastFest app, admiring the newly added schedule, please make note of an important safety feature - THE CALL OR TEXT FOR HELP BUTTON! ( will be activated once the festival gates open!)
"I have found a person who needs medical help. They are awake and breathing but have injured their leg very badly. I am located in camp ground B. We are about 10 feet past the RV with the giant giraffe on the roof."
When would you NOT use this?
Pls help us keep our support services available and ready for serious incidents. Dont use the call or text for help when you are able to reach someone with a radio, or for things that arent an emergency, like asking who is playing #radiostage at 9pm.
Heading to @BassCoastFest and have Early Entry? Join us for our #harmreduction 101 workshop: Rave Jeopardy at 515 in the Brain! #SafeCoast #BassCoast

(1/2) special appreciation post for @xGirlHoodx / @goodnightoutVAN , who conceptualized+ designed the consent posters and cards we have at our shows and is a leader in the conversation around eliminating rape culture especially in the rave community and creating safer events!

Quick reminders about intoxication and consent from @goodnightoutVAN - including that alcohol is the #1 cause of drug-facilitated sexual assault (not GHB etc.). Remember to apply #HarmReduction to drinking as well as other drugs! #NovaScotiaMusicWeek #WeLoveConsent
