New Footage for 'AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY' The opening of Avengers: Doomsday reportedly begins with a massive Incursion, bringing Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man face-to-face with the X-Men. As the two universes collide, Spider-Man finds himself caught in a fight he never expected, with Wolverine and the X-Men battling to survive the collapsing reality. The sequence is said to be one of the film’s major opening moments, setting up the multiversal chaos that follows. With Spider-Man and the X-Men finally sharing the screen, this could be one of the biggest crossover moments in Doomsday if the footage turns out to be real.
