Before the @NFL took the field in Paris, some of its leaders and legends took time to remember. 🇺🇸 Pro Football Hall of Famer Mel Blount, former NFL player @Mathieu_Era, New Orleans @Saints owner Gayle Benson, Pittsburgh @Steelers President Art Rooney II, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell visited Suresnes American Cemetery to honor the Americans commemorated there. A meaningful moment of remembrance connecting generations through service and sacrifice. 🙏 📸 @USEmbassyFrance

My understanding is that Nathan Shepherd being inactive against the Steelers wasn't necessarily illness related. He had missed a lot of time the last few weeks due to an illness and the Saints opted to go with other players in Paris.

Best comp to this situation would be the Giants and Eli Manning in 2004. That Giants team had Kurt Warner (33) who had them out to a 4-1 start before a 1-3 stretch. Eli Manning took over a 5-4 team in Week 11. New York lost the next six games and ended the season 6-10.
#Raiders coach Klint Kubiak made clear that “there is no controversy” — Kirk Cousins will start this week. As for Fernando Mendoza, “Fernando is going to play at some point, but it’s not going to be this week.”

3 things 1. I’m really glad that the Crying Jordan meme has finally been retired. 2. No idea how a Charlie Wilson Tiny Desk performance of Outstanding ended up being the replacement. 3. I know the loss in Paris was tough, but this lowkey almost makes it worth it.
your Saints aint safe bruh

You may not have noticed but Chase Young is having a generational season. Here he only uses his left hand to long arm then rip. Steelers LT had no shot. @RosvoglouReport @RossJacksonNOLA

This dude would rather write an entire incorrect story than learn the rules to the game he writes about for a living. Sadly, only the second-most wrong he’s been on an NFL topic in the past week.

#Saints HC Kellen Moore said the team has not made any changes to how the staff builds the run game. "It's a collaborative opportunity for all of us. (OL Coach Brendan Nugent) and (Run Game Coordinator T.J. Paganetti) do a lot of the prep work leading up to it. From there, I get involved, and we get a collaborative effort with the entire offensive staff."

Klint Kubiak & his staff had us running the ball on 3rd & 5 & converting with Trevor Penning on this line. McCoy, Fuaga, Edwards etc just don’t wake up & become bad players or decide not to execute
