Welp, guess folks on Thai Twitter are not happy: The top trending hashtag tonight is #เลื่อนแม่งมึงสิ (roughly "delay mother******!" or literally "postpone your ****ing mother") in the wake of another possible election delay as it might clash with the coronation schedule.

Main problem is now no one really wants to affirm that Feb 24 is definitively election day after numerous delays by the military govt. Strictly legally speaking after all these organic laws etc, Feb 24 is the *earliest* election date. Dep-PM Wissanu will meet with EC later.

Responding to reports elections may be delayed again due to the coronation ceremony on May 4-6, Dep-PM Wissanu says the election day itself on Feb 24 is not of concern, but events after that incl by-elex and result confirmations may clash with related royal activities.

There are reports that democratic elections may be delayed (yet again) by a month from Feb 24 to Mar 24. Rescuers managed to get inside a cave chamber called Tham Phra (ถ้ำพระ) 40 meter deep. There’s no water, only mud. It’s still unclear if this chamber will lead to other passages/chambers and ultimately the misdinh group. #Thailand #ThamLuang #ถ้ำหลวง #dpareporter
