Did you kill bees and frogs and put bangers up cats bottoms when you were a kid? Why not try a job in salmon farming? 🦠🤢🤮☠️

Following @jaffa_dr’s idiotic theory that salmon farms don’t kill wild salmon & the LFT’s field data proving that they do, here’s 2 graphs of my own. Is it plausible that wild salmon probably die at the same rate from the same lice & diseases in the same water as feedlot fish?🤷🏻‍♂️

If you must eat fish after a strenuous game of rugby, you might be safer going to the chippy: @Scotlandteam

Totally shameless. From huge lengths of feed pipe (below) to microplastics abraded from same pipes by ricocheting feed pellets, the foreign owned industry in control of #ScottishSalmon are huge polluters. Clean up your act - don’t expect a pat on the back.
Beach cleaning serves as a great benefit to marine #environments and biodiversity. #Scottishsalmon farmers and staff from throughout the #aquaculture sector continuously do their part, volunteering at various beach cleans around #Scotland. Beaches such as Greshornish on the Isle of #Skye by @MowiScotlandLtd, Scalloway beach in #Shetland by #ScottishSeaFarms , Raasay beach and others have been cleared of debris, cuts of rope, plastic, rubbish and even interesting finds like messages in a bottle. Keeping our environment clear of rubbish and waste is detrimental for helping wildlife and the biodiversity that live there. This includes our beaches and coastlines around #Scotland. #MarineConservation | #BeachClean | #Aquaculture | #beachwatch

More facts here - seabirds are constantly trapped in the top nets, you emit thousands of tonnes of fish excrement annually which impacts seabed habitats, and of course there are the lice....news.stv.tv/politics/ministe…

I can't imagine many things more stressful for a migratory animal like a #salmon than for it to be shut in a tiny cage to circle for the duration of its life. Would we tolerate the same treatment of swallows? Lets be aware of the stress we cause others on this day.
Today is National Stress Awareness Day 🧠💙 #Scottishsalmon is naturally rich in the long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. These essential fats are important components of nerve and brain tissue, making salmon a nutritious addition to a healthy, balanced diet. 🐟 #NationalStressAwarenessDay | #Salmon | #BrainHealth | #Omega3 | #HealthyEating

The reality of living with #ScottishSalmon farming. Industrialisation by stealth of #rural areas. It's like living beside any smelly, noisy, disruptive factory. Belo 'well boat' lights strobbing through a window in the wee hours. It only suits those profiting from despoilation.
