Nobody was "triggered". Everybody just said it looks shit and ruined what would have been an exceptionally good set of kits. That was true then. It's true now. It will still be true if we win the quadruple.
Anyway back to the Vitality sponsorship “pink blob” on the #afcb kits……… Assuming everybody that was vocal is still “triggered” every time they see it? 🤣🤣

Tough game, but another three points in the bag. Six wins on the bounce, six clean sheets. The resilience and defensive organisation Marco Rose has brought to this side is impressive. What a job he's doing. 🍒 I think a 21st century club record for consecutive clean sheets, too?

That was fucking unreal. I have never been more happy for a player to make me look like I know nothing about football 9️⃣👑🇧🇷

It continues, and on that note, I've fully fallen in love with the King of Brazil 😍

#AFCB did have this. Soon as we let Gary O'Neil go, every pundit out there was saying it was it was an awful decision, we should know our level & there is no next step. Rather than crying and threatening legal, we did our talking on the pitch and proved every one of them wrong.
People saying villa have ‘thin skin’ imagine if Jamie Carragher had said that about YOUR club, basically ‘you’ve done everything you can and this is your ceiling, stay in your lane’ If you can’t strive to be the best then we might as well pack up and go home. He’s a disgrace.

Your country begs us to give your restaurant staff tips because they can't afford to live otherwise. Sit this one out
Calling £126k "an enormous amount of money" is crazy. That's like 180k USD. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around how poor the Brits are.

Just goes to show how good our recruitment is. Too many clubs lose a player and just replace a CB for a CB without looking at the continuation of the type of player. His game is incredibly similar to Senesi's, instead of just "shit, we need a CB". Much, much higher ceiling, too.

5 months of having my mind blown by the Russian language, and this is where we're at. Will take that, considering the only word I knew at the start was one that definitely won't be on the syllabus.

Seen a lot of excuses from #AVFC fans last night, mostly about not caring about this competition or playing their B team. Marco Rose also made 8 changes and played mostly fringe players. Why is it so hard to accept that sometimes, the other team just plays better on the night?

3 consecutive 3-0 wins, in 3 different competitions, against 3 different former European Cup winners 🍒 (You'll never sing that in a song)

Aisle seat is much better. More room and can get up easier if you need to, especially if those next to you are alseep. More convenient that having a view, which is the same view you always have - clouds.
The window seat will always be the best seat on a plane.

The idea that Eddie Howe would be stupid to take the Man United job is in itself, stupid. They're still Man United. You're either the guy that turns it around (which everyone wants to be) or you take a big payout. It's a complete win/win, and the biggest gig of his career to date

And it's not the career ender people talk about at all. Moyes went to Sociedad, Ten Hag to Leverkusen, Amorim to AC Milan. Also van Gaal and Mourinho, who both landed big jobs after, albeit their previous reputation played a part. Even Solskjaer landed a decent Europa League job.

Early days and I'm by no means saying Rose is better than Iraola, but thing he is doing better is getting more end product out of Tav & Evanilson - which has been my biggest criticism of both of them. They've always been workhorses, but it's great to see them producing more now.

2008: Fighting for survival in League Two with -17 points. 2026: Taking on AC Milan and Manchester United in the space of 4 days. 2 games, 2 wins, 6 goals scored, 0 conceded. From the brink of extinction to battering European giants. My chez 🍒
