I love college football. Always have.
Its regular season is the best in sports. Has been forever.
So it's legitimately upsetting that the CFP is going to 24 teams. Not everything needs to be about how the most money can be made. I hope some of the sport's big names speak up.

Greg Sankey should be embarrassed by the quality of officiating we see every week in the SEC.
Spend less time tweeting about the books you’re reading and show us some leadership.
The players and coaches deserve better.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m sharing the Ditka family has announced the passing of Mike Ditka this morning.
Da Coach. Hall of Famer. The heartbeat of the ’85 Bears and a Super Bowl champion. Chicago won’t be the same.
Prayers to Diana and the family.
RIP, Coach. 🐻⬇️
Here’s a statement from the family:
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Mike Ditka. While the world knew Mike as a Hall of Fame football player, legendary coach, and leader of the Chicago Bears’ Super Bowl XX championship team, we knew him as the heart of our family. Mike will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever.
With love and gratitude, The Ditka Family

A quarter of a century has passed since September 11, 2001, when the peace of our Nation was shattered by terrorists.
Today, we remember the 2,977 precious lives taken from us, honor the heroes who answered the call, & keep their families in the heart of our Nation.
Above all, we must ensure the memory of 9/11 never fades, but is carried from one generation of Americans to the next.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Over the last few years, I’ve asked others in industry…When will NFL get involved because at some point it will impact them right?
It will be interesting to see if the NFL steps in. Maybe that’s what we need…it is the greatest league in the country (world?) and why not add another cook with expertise to the kitchen.
I know many feel we could fix this without federal legislation and I don’t disagree…but the problem, as I see it, is a lack of unity across industry. Self-interest and self-preservation has led to insanity.
We overcomplicated this. Lost our why, became transactional, courts and lawsuits determining our fate…
Not an easy problem to fix, but I believe solutions exist 🙏🏼
