The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

I think that we forget that extinction is forever.
What they will create is nothing more than dodo proxies. We need to accept the fact that we drove an innocent and truly unique flightless bird to extinction.

No more cheap airlines, we are paying through the nose for flights now -- and, under Trump, all the consumer protections we had are gone. This doesn't hurt wealthy people; it only helps airlines that overbook their flights and create havoc that leads to delays.
Nothing better than looking up some old nazi and seeing that october 1946 death date in the wiki infobox

NEW: DOJ's civil rights division, down about 300 career lawyers, has hastily hired a new crop of 130 people -- some w/ criminal records, minimal experience, tarnished work histories, hyperpartisanship and downright bizarre public statements.

Not even close to the most horrifying insect. I see more horrifying insects every day. I can lift up a rock right now and find a more horrifying insect. This guy is just a plump and jolly fellow

the Vice President of the United States has gone on record citing this man as one of his biggest intellectual influences
if you didn't know this, it's probably because for some reason literally no mainstream political media outlets think it's worth mentioning

"Oh but I don't care about Brasil it's their problem if Flávio Bolsonaro wins"
This country has the biggest tropical forest of the World, and believe me, if Flávio wins, agribusiness will DEFOREST it ALL for the sake of planting soy for their own profit. The world will die.

NEW: I analyzed seven years of Cornell's sexual violence case data. Expulsions are very rare.
1,216 reports of sexual assault, DV and stalking from 2018-2024.
162 formal investigations.
51 findings of fault.
14 suspensions.
7 expulsions or dismissals. usatoday.com/story/news/nati…

Most of the plant based sources of protein were discovered and perfected by non white people. Seitan literally started as a way for Buddhist monks in China to get protein without eating animals. This "vegans are all white" argument is getting old
THANK YOU
The allegations in the Cornell University sexual assault case are nothing short of horrifying. For any student to come forward after an experience like this takes extraordinary courage. No student should ever be left wondering whether the institutions meant to protect them will listen and act.
I support the district attorney’s decision to reopen the criminal investigation. But there are also serious questions about Cornell’s campus culture and its systems for prevention, reporting, and response.
That is why I am calling for outside counsel to conduct a transparent, independent review of the university’s response to determine whether Cornell met every obligation to protect its students and pursue justice.

ONE-THIRD of Cornell women!
From the NYT, *finally* reporting on the Cornell gang rape today.
This is shocking! And for those dismissing the importance of this assault as some variety of 'this has always happened,' NO!
When more than ONE-THIRD of your undergraduate women - 35%! - report "nonconsensual sexual contact," it's a fucking CRISIS! Do something @Cornell!
