I recently had a convo with what they called them selves a “hybrid” publisher, who gave me a sales pitch that they would work collaboratively with me editing, marketing, publishing. (cont in thread).

Me, pulling from my own deck: I play the Page of Pentacles in defense position and draw. The Page allows me to also play a minor arcana so I place the Three of Wands in attack position
I'm not an agent/editor, but I think it's wildly bizarre that authors are angry over this.
In fact, I think many likely chose these professions bc of their love of writing, and although I don't have an agent *yet* I'd love one who is also trying to be published, or is already.
Preparing 2 go into the world and *takes a deep breath* send out some queries for my #YAFantasyWIP so I'm hyping myself up with a pitch into the abyss:
