'The Australian' tried a gotcha on new Greens leader David Shoebridge and it didn't go as planned 😎

Wonder how Labor members and unions feel about 1.3 million dollars of their dues being swallowed up to defeat evil Greens housing man because he annoyed Albo
Australian Labor spent AU$2.6M ousting 2 Greens rivals from parliament
Max Chandler-Mather got under the Prime Minister’s skin. Then Labor spent $1.3M to defeat him.

So that was on top of the $M spent by Advance to discredited them.
The Greens are such a threat they’ve had to create a multimillion dollar industry to try and stop them. Yet they’re still growing.👍🏽💚

They hate that The Greens show them up as having betrayed almost all the traditional values of the left. Labor are neoliberal on the environment, job seeker, aged care, taxes, political corruption. They just don’t like to be reminded of it.

israel is an apartheid state not because palestinian citizens have *no* rights, but because they do not have *equal rights*—just as black people in the jim crow south were living under apartheid even though they had some rights of their own. it's pretty simple really!
Israel discriminates against Palestinian citizens of Israel and treats them as second class, neglecting thier concerns as a key part of its apartheid system that it uses over all Palestinians, most of whom are denied the right to vote.
Despite this, Israel's backers seek to use Palestinian citizens of Israel for propoganda points, adding insult to injury. No one should take this crap seriously.

$2.2 million is an outrageous sum of money for one public servant to earn. What's more, 17 people in the Future Fund are now on more than a million - only one woman among them. Australians who can barely afford groceries right now, will share my outrage. tinyurl.com/mak89juh

We can demand more than Labor’s managed decline.
We can build an economy that works for people, not corporate profit - and a country confident enough to chart its own path.
The Greens are ready to lead.
Join us.

We’ve done this before.
The vote. The eight-hour working day. Medicare. Public education. Safe workplaces.
Progress happened because people came together, demanded better and turned that movement into political change.

We need to address inequality right now.
The country's wealth is being siphoned up to a tiny ultra-rich.
The top 1% have more wealth than the bottom 75% combined.
Just look at the average wealth of the 1% over the past few decades compared with everyone else.

This is bigger than one tax cut.
It’s about changing who our economy works for.
We can have a government that puts money in people’s pockets instead of protecting excessive corporate profits.

That’s why we’ll fund this plan by making gas and mining corporations pay back $45 billion a year of their massive profits.
Fossil fuel and mining giants are sitting on rivers of gold and it’s time they coughed up.

When commodity prices boom, Australians should get a fair share.
These resources belong to all of us, yet we’re getting a shocking deal.
Australia collects just 14% of the value of our petroleum in public revenue, while big corps take a record share of our economy in profits.
