I said this months ago when it happened but everyone told me I was wrong because Shams said otherwise.
I'm not a reporter so I truly have no agenda nor do I have anyone's interests or relationship to protect . I'm a former DJ turned sports gambler who somehow got into sports media. All my friends work in entertainment or are in the streets. When I hear something and say it on here it's because I have friends who are around the situation.
Tatum isn't lying about his reaction to the trade either. He's telling the truth.
The truth is people forget the human aspect to these deals.
Jaylen Brown didn't want to play for the Celtics anymore once they shopped him for Giannis. 5 time all star, 2x All NBA, Finals MVP, ECF Finals MVP and held down the fort when Tatum tore his achilles. The Celtics won 1 championship, made the Finals another time with 4 more conference Finals appearances while Brown was there.
Everyone who made the NBA was the best player in their high school, college, town, city, state. Not everyone is going to be okay with feeling unappreciated.

When both players are on the court, Paul George is simply a better basketball player than Jaylen Brown.
Always has been. Always will be.

The real losers in this whole situation is the Bucks if JB really wanted to go there & be the guy & they ended up with Tyler Herro instead 😭😭

If this is true then Jaylen looks even worse than he did before, when he was just insinuating that Tatum had him traded.
Also hilarious he tried to recruit teammates and they were like “nah, we’re good over here with JT”

We also have this weird answer from Brad at this pre-trade press conference to the question about whether he thought Jaylen still wanted to stay in Boston longterm.

Jaylen Brown was reportedly the one who demanded a trade from Boston and was pushing for a move to Milwaukee, per @Scalabrine
“I think Jaylen Brown lives in his own reality. But because it wasn’t being documented that he demanded to be traded, then I don’t think that anybody, anybody thinks that, that he could—now, he could say that it was Tatum’s fault.
Like, he could just make stuff up. But my understanding is Jaylen Brown went to the organization and had a list of demands. And it was like, ‘You either do this or you trade me.’
And he was rooting to get traded to Milwaukee, including calling some other teammates about, ‘Hey, man, what do you think of Milwaukee? We should go there.’”
