MORE THINGS CHANGE. THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME. BJP’s performance in UP MLC elections has given party plenty to cheer. Data shows there has been little erosion in pro-BJP sentiment at state level. In, 2020 also BJP won 6 of the 11 seats. SP had won both seats of Varanasi in 2020.
