With all the Economists we have NBS chose to interview Dr Nkamuhayo Rwacumika (Kihura Nkuba) about the depreciating shilling. This distortion is deliberately meant to vulgarise an otherwise very important discussion

I just wanted to remind you that in the year of our Lord 2002 Justice Frederick Egonda- Ntende nullified Amama Mbabazi's 2001 parliamentary election. He confirmed there was widespread electoral malpractices like voter bribery, intimidation by security forces and illegal use of public resources. Amama appealed the decision and the court of appeal dismissed his petition. I want you to think about the kind of judges Uganda had 20 years ago, and the kind we have now.

I'm going to be sharing more from my day job. The public use of the skills and knowledge we are privileged to have access to is a good thing
Well done, Sir.
If there is something that truly works all the time, it is the platforms that generate URA's PRNs and their transactional mailing service. You will always get these in a matter of seconds.
.@regesa Succinctly explains what Musevenism is and why we are cooked for about the next 10 to 15 years. That is our biggest headache. We know the Old Man is in his twilight , but how does the country fix Musevenism that pervades every facet?

Are others concerned about the visual pollution? Drive on a 2 km stretch, and you will encounter over 70 signposts screaming for your attention. There must be a way this affects us. Has anyone come across research to this effect?

I have come back to this headline almost 50 times. The fact that it is not on their Africa page but their main page. The sensational language, the provocative comparison. Knowing the authority Bloomberg has and its power to affect investment decisions. This is an economic hit piece.
Uganda is tapping its nearly $7 billion in reserves to lessen the blow of a plunging shilling, which is the world’s second-worst-performing currency this month after Iraq’s dinar. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Yes, André Janones won Lula the presidency by getting 10m people, 7% of the electorate to join his WhatsApp channel.
But that doesn't mean it was just poasting and hyperpolitics. There was a lot of this kind of thing 👇
If they arrest me, I'm a hero. If they kill me, I become a martyr. And if they let me go, I'll become president again." Lula

He told me, too. That SFC soldiers spent over 2 hours flogging him in Entebbe.
They beat and forced him to roll in the dust.
They knew that it was him they were beating.
They knew they were beating an MP.
They knew they were beating their area MP.
That's why they were beating him.
