Cornell was a pioneer, legend and gentleman who was part of six Super Bowl appearances and three World Championships as a member of the Broncos’ personnel department.
We're saddened by the passing of former scout and NFL DB Cornell Green, who spent 28 years as a Broncos scout as part of his 46-year NFL career. 📰 » buff.ly/IQeW8Dq

Thank you for sharing about Stosh. I still can't believe it. He was a radio pro who relished his job and stayed dedicated to it. But mostly he doted on his wife Kelly and their five kids. My heart breaks for them and the rest of his family.
We were born on the same day...were brothers from the minute I started working here 22+ years ago...never had a bad time being in his orbit...blessed beyond words 4EVER...this WILL hurt me/us for a long, long time at @ESPNRadio...he will always be with me...Love You 4ever Stosh!

Well written and reasoned as to why #NFL does not deserve benefit of doubt on Jalen Hurts The biggest counterpoint, IMO, is that Hurts’ agent partnered with the team in releasing statement about his condition. This is not an endorsement of how everything was handled but is an indication of being on the same page

The Ernie Zampese story was such a classic. Here’s John Madden talking about him back in day.
Ending my favorite part: 1) #Rams HC complains about too many passes being called; 2) OC say eff it, leaves booth for locker room with half 4Q left 3) WR coach pretends he’s still getting play calls from OC 4) HC goes to grave w/o ever knowing!

Notable from Darnold: he said this last season, and was speaking in general, not about a specific play caller (in case people are inferring this is a thing with the new OC).

"I’m in Lincoln Financial Field, calling plays in to Donovan McNabb, and right in the middle of one of the calls, I get a tow truck operator down on South Street, Philadelphia, that crackles through the radio line." Just an incredible article all around. Excellent insight
For a year, @SandoNFL and I dove into what actually goes on in an NFL headset, and the vast networks that make every play possible - hidden in plain sight. Then, the best visuals team in the world made it tangible. A project unlike any you’ve seen: nytimes.com/athletic/interac…

If you've ever second-guessed a play call in an NFL game in your life, this is the most must-read story of the day. Incredible work. Fantastic quotes. Great reporting. And visually stunning.
The hidden world inside NFL headsets is as complex and strategic as it is chaotic: a textured audio landscape of intense competition, stress, dramatically shifting emotions, unwritten rules and even absurdity. @JourdanRodrigue and @SandoNFL pull back the curtain on NFL headsets: nyti.ms/4ibIpSK

"Here comes No. 5" is such a great comeback
I love these kind of game within the game articles. This article uses visuals and words well together.

This is great. Just one game I want to hear all headset communications. Meantime, this will do. Fun story.

This is really good. And the Bengals play a big role in it.

There is a part in here about Jimmy G. and the 49ers in 2017 that is wild. @JuiceCheck44 stepping up to save Shanny's bacon!

This was fun. You may not have learning about the intricacies of headset communication on game day on your radar today but you should.

“In the moment, it can be like, ‘Holy s---, what the f--- are we doing? How is this a billion-dollar industry?’ “And then there are other moments where you’re like, ‘Wow, that was so impressive.”
