🚨Today’s Scottish Budget is the greenest budget ever. Scottish Greens in Government have prioritised spending on child poverty and the cost of living crisis, while ensuring it’s a budget that protects our climate and nature. #ScotBudget 🧵
Such an important event. Glad you were both there!
Today Rachael and Hannah attended the @HighlandCarers Connecting Carers Conference and Showcase✨ The staff & speakers were absolutely brilliant, highlighting the issues young carers face in Highland, relevant policies and funded respite opportunities #Highlandcarersconference

Fox hunting is a brutal and outdated practice. It's time to close the loopholes in the legislation and end it for good.
We now have a chance to do that in the Hunting With Dog Bill. Let Parliament hear your voice ✍️👇

We can save money (and much else besides) by turning down the thermostat. Turning down from 22 to 18 degrees - a perfectly healthy temperature (just add a jumper!) - can save over £500 per year. theconversation.com/energy-b…

These comments are dangerous and totally disrespectful. Abortion rights are human rights. We cannot allow them be threatened or eroded by reactionary politicians like Mogg.
I call on @RishiSunak to condemn these grotesque comments.

Evidence continues to stack in favour of a 4 day week.
A global marketing company who's been running a 4 day week for a year and a half, called it "one of the most transformative initiatives we’ve seen in the history of the company."

Huge thanks to @HighlandCouncil elected members for voting to greatly reduce cars in Academy Street. Businesses are worried, but surely a more enjoyable, unpolluted town centre encourages people to spend more time there? And anyway, reducing pollution is not negotiable. End of.

Fantastic to see @SGPtradeunion members out supporting strikes across Scotland.
It's not too late to show your support for workers in every corner of Scotland. 🚩💚

ALT An image of the University of Glasgow with a crowd of people holding a banner reading: "Solidarity with then strike". The image is overlaid with text reading: "Solidarity. Greens stand with striking teachers, university staff and posties. Get out and support pickets across Scotland. Photo credit: Louise Lindsay". In the top right is the logo of the SGPTUG.

This reaction is simply inaccurate. Evidence from across the globe shows removing cars from city centres means pedestrians spend more time there. And reducing pollution is not negotiable. It's a change but a good one - for businesses too. Give it a chance! inverness-courier.co.uk/news…
