I don’t think any of these supposed denials are actual rejections.
Those coaches still have jobs right now. Riley is probably getting fired this year, so what he said means nothing.
Danielson and Traylor absolutely can’t say anything else right now. They have a team competing on the field right now. Doing anything except publicly squashing those rumors would be coaching malpractice.
Let’s give it a few weeks before we determine that anyone has made any decisions.

Aranda is 40-40. He’s got a losing record against FBS programs. He’s got a losing record in the B12. He’s got a losing record against P5 schools. He’s 1-6 against TCU.
Baylor has elite facilities, a good NIL pool, and reasonable expectations. Dave wasn’t meeting them. He hasn’t met them in several years.
Firing him not only made sense. It was long overdue.
Traylor’s comments are a nothing burger. This is exactly what Matt Rhule said before he left Waco. And what is Traylor supposed to say? I’m leaving right now? Obviously he wants to see this thing play out

The saddest thing is that almost all Baylor fans really wanted Dave Aranda to work. He’s a perfect cultural fit.
He just isn’t a good head coach and unfortunately that’s the job title.
This is completely unacceptable. There is no reason to continue employing him.
It’s the same stuff every time. It’s penalties, costly fourth down failures, and special teams breakdowns. It has to end.
Dave is on the verge of missing a bowl… again. Baylor has the resources to be better than this. The fans deserve better than this. They should’ve left Dave in Lawrence.
