Drive out this afternoon. Sunny and bright. The seals at Horsey Gap were cute and captivating, the perfect distraction from life…and the perfect subject for a decent iPhone camera so that we kept our distance!

#F1's position on Qatar and Abu Dhabi is unchanged, despite some suggestions today that Stefano Domenicali said the final races were 100% going ahead. His comments to Sky Italy that the final two grands prix are "confirmed" is a stance that has been adopted for a while - and it was couched that final asssurances are still needed. Imola remains Plan B. A final call remains expected later this month. 🧵1/2 #F1

Working in Woking today, so I called by the McLaren Technology Centre to see the new logo. This is the sign that is lit up in Papaya whenever the team win. The new logo takes its influence from the original McLaren family garage back in New Zealand, so there is a heritage story.
