So many languages to learn, places to see, foods to try, music to listen, books to read, people to befriend, thoughts to write, nature to stare at....

Totally! Some books come to us when we're ready. I found 'Many lives, Many masters' randomly few years back. Quickly proceeded to devour all books of Dr. Brian Weiss. Soon, found 'The laws of spuritual world' by Khorshed Bhavnagri, out of blue. I understand why in hindsight now๐
Some books we find, and some books find US when the time is right.
I had Ayn Rand lying around at my parents place for years..never got around to reading her books for some reason..then one day a colleague and a dear friend found out that I hadn't read Ayn and she totally pushed me to read it.
And coincidentally, Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged turned out to be the exact books I needed at that time..
Infuriating! Same thing happens when elevator opens. Instead off standing on one side & letting people come out first, ppl just rush in, many are not even looking up as they're lost deep into their phones. Reeljeevis or video calls on loud speaker are another pervasive nuisance
The plane had stopped. The guy behind me nudged my backpack 2-3 times.
On top of that, this guy leaned over me from behind and pulled his bag out of the overhead compartment.
The plane isn't going anywhere. It's not taking off again. And the person in front of you isn't blocking you on purpose. They're stuck because the people ahead are stuck.
India needs a compulsory subject in every class called โHow to behave in public.'
When i visited Bhutan, country had opened for tourism freshly. first thing we were told is NOT to buy & use buddha statues for decorations as it dilutes respect. Same thing, I feel for this movie & also felt for aadipurush. Ram is faith of millions. Can't dilute by taking liberties

My therapist once told me, โAnger is the part of you that loves you the most. It shows up when youโre being mistreated, ignored, or disrespected. Itโs a signal calling you to step away from whatโs harming you. Whether itโs a room, a job, a relationship, or an old version of yourself, anger lets you know when itโs time to walk away. If you learn to listen to it, to trust it, and make it your ally, it wonโt need to shout so loudly.โ That conversation never left meโฆ it changed the way I see myself.
Every decision has a price in this life. Choose option with a price tag that works for "you"

One of my friends recently completed her PhD in the US and secured a job. After working there for a year, she now needs to return to India for visa stamping following her change of visa category to H-1B.
But thanks to the uncertainty surrounding the Trump administrationโs visa policies, she is afraid to travel. If she leaves the US, there is no certainty about when she will be able to return, given the current visa issuance restrictions.
And here is another eye-opening reality.
She urgently needs a root canal treatment. The estimated cost in the US is a staggering โน6 LAKH. The same treatment in India would cost somewhere between โน10,000 and โน30,000.
Think about that!
People spend years chasing the American dream, often overlooking the cost of living, healthcare expenses and immigration uncertainties that come with it.
The grass may look greener in America, but sometimes the price of living that dream is simply astronomical.
Perhaps it is time we stopped confusing a higher dollar salary with a better quality of life.
