Such a refreshing editorial by India's leading publisher @the_hindu today on the Binance hack
"The lesson for Indian policymakers is not that crypto is unsafe in itself; this incident does not prove that. Rather, it's about how Binance prepared for and reacted to the attack."
A large part of India sees crypto's upsides, and certainly with more objectivity on how these attacks are studied instead of sheer fear-mongering
Also, kudos to @binance for handling this whole situation well, which will eventually do a tonne of good for the entire industry

Another day, another major institution choosing @arbitrum. This time it's a bank.
@crossriverbank, the largest loan originator for US fintech lenders, is building tokenization into its lending platform with @Offchain. Every loan will live onchain on Arbitrum from day one.
On stage at @HongKongFintech, our CEO and Founder @GillesGade announced our partnership with @Offchain to integrate tokenization directly into our lending platform, enabling assets to be tokenized at origination.
The solution combines regulated origination and native tokenization, creating a foundation for credit products that can operate more continuously and programmatically. Since the infrastructure is built into our platform, fintechs and lending partners can access these capabilities without changing how they originate loans or server borrowers.

Arb perps up n right
Arbitrum is the #2 chain for perps trading.
@arbitrum has generated $79.6 BILLION in perps DEX volume in the past 30-days per DefiLlama data.
With over $1 billion in open interest, that makes $ARB the #2 chain for perps, after @HyperliquidX itself.
The vast majority of this activity is driven by the @variational_io platform.

The Arbitrum Security Council has taken emergency action to rescue the 74,559,805 ARB and 8,425 ETH being held in the address on Arbitrum One that is identified as connected to the Binance exploit. The Security Council acted by weighing its commitment to the security and integrity of the Arbitrum community and Arbitrum governance without impacting any Arbitrum users or applications.
After significant technical diligence and deliberation, the Security Council identified and executed a technical approach to move funds to safety without affecting any other chain state or other Arbitrum users.
As of October 30, 2026 time, the funds have been successfully transferred to an intermediary frozen wallet. They are no longer accessible to the address that originally held the funds, and can only be moved by further action of the Security Council or a vote of Arbitrum DAO governance, which will be coordinated with relevant parties.
BREAKING: Arbitrum Security Council has executed a transaction to freeze ~$30.5M from the Binance Exploit.
Thanks to all other signers involved.

Every onchain product has a hypothesis about who needs their product and why, and Founder House is all about pressure-testing it.

Fastest-growing stablecoin on Arbitrum this week: robinhood:0x5fc5360d0400a0fd4f2af552add042d716f1d168
Fastest-growing chain for USDG: ethereum:0xb50721bcf8d664c30412cfbc6cf7a15145234ad1
USDG supply on Arbitrum has 4x’d in the last 30 days, and it's just the start.
“Together, our results suggest that financial market participants do expect stablecoins to play an important role in payments, substantially but heterogeneously increasing the competitive pressure on incumbents.”
Interesting read from @IMFNews. When the institutions of the old financial order start doing deep dives like this, the shift is already well underway.
An interesting paper from the @IMFNews on Stablecoins. AI won't give you a good summary. You will have to read it as it is written in "Fundese" (Fund jargon), which means there is a lot between the lines. 😀

JUST IN: ArbitrumDAO backs plan to allocate 100 million $ARB to grow Paxos' USDG
The proposal had 99.04% support as of October 20, ahead of Thursday’s vote close.
It’s not often a $170B+ asset manager writes a deep dive on a single network’s business model
A great read on the Arbitrum platform from @WisdomTreeFunds
Here's an interesting take from the report:
“What Arbitrum offers is a home for the long tail of lower cost deployments, where low fees make an experiment affordable and let teams grow into business models cheaply.”
NEW research report from $170 billion asset manager WisdomTree today on the @Arbitrum business model.
This was shared by @WisdomTreeFunds with their clients this week as I joined their team to speak with representatives from 12 figures of managed AUM across roundtables and 1:1s in Europe.
From these meetings, I heard one theme louder than everything: tokenization across financial assets is accelerating and allocators are looking for the blockchain networks that are indexed to the revenue opportunity from this buildout.
In this note, WisdomTree tells its clients “to expect future enterprises to look at Arbitrum when launching their own network”.
They continue “until recently, digital assets did not have revenue in a traditional sense that an analyst would recognise. That has changed quickly. Increasingly, networks and the applications on them are building durable revenue."

Just 6 months ago, a room like this would have been hard to imagine.
@WisdomTreeFunds brought together allocators representing €600B+ in assets for an intimate roundtable, all there to dig into the Arbitrum story and how it fits into portfolios.
The future is onchain, and it’s being built on Arbitrum.
Special shoutout to @itsbrendanma, the man of the hour.
What a room today. This is @Arbitrum and capital allocators representing over €600 billion of assets. Thank you for the warm welcome in Italy @WisdomTreeFunds.
It was a privilege to speak with, answer questions, and meet with many who joined me today to hear about the Arbitrum case for the programmable economy. From banks, to liquid funds, to private wealth advisor networks.
Over the course of 45 minutes and very efficient live translation, I made 3 cases to those leaning into the industry today:

This is one of the most significant events that occurred this year. Not because of the winding-down of AGV, that was unfortunate, because it is a signal that Arbitrum initiatives can be recalibrated by governance to match the market and priorities.
The amount of capital returned to the DAO was greater than the then current value of the tokens initially set out as part of the program.
Being responsible stewards of the treasury is one of the most common criticisms of protocols, Arbitrum has stronger checks and balances in place than any other major protocol.
TREASURY UPDATE: 129.18M ARB and 7M USDC have been returned to the DAO treasury since the AGV wind-down proposal passed in July.
The 7M USDC has been routed to the ATMC portfolio for deployment into yield-bearing strategies.
Any future deployment of the remaining treasury capital, whether into higher-yielding strategies or strategic opportunities, is controlled by ARB holders through governance.

The Arbitrum treasury, controlled by ethereum:0xb50721bcf8d664c30412cfbc6cf7a15145234ad1 holders, is growing. The growth is led by fundamentals, not just market moves.
> $30M+ returned to the DAO as AGV scaled down
> $5.8M in revenue (30D)
> $100M AUM under the DAO treasury mgmt, nearing $5M in cumulative interest
> Two more revenue lines added in the last month: PGA and USDG
Fewer open-ended commitments, multiple sources of earnings & supply nearly settled (94% of ARB vested, with full vesting by March 2027).
A stronger treasury means more room to back high-growth priorities like USDG, which feeds revenue straight back to treasury.

September was Arbitrum's most underrated month
> Highest net income month for DAO til date at $4M+
> 2 new major revenue streams in PGA & USDG
> Continued gains in RWAs & perps
Arbitrum Autumn is truly upon us
Arbitrum Autumn 🍂
> $5.8M in revenue (last 30D)
> 7,200 in RWAs and counting
> $1.2B in perp volume (last 24 hrs)
> $31M+ in $USDG market cap (5 days since launch)
> PGA & Fast Feed (new revenue line) generated $200K+ in fees (2 weeks in)
It’s only the beginning
If you read one thing this week, make it this forum post
Days from now, this will look like an obvious but important case study for blitzscaling a blockchain platform
It's also kind of sexy watching the DAO operate like a high-growth startup
