Before her Senate confirmation hearing, Trump's pick for ambassador to Greece asked a Trump donor to pay her $100,000 American Express bill, per messages the Wall Street Journal reviewed. One read: "It won't show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express."

About 1 in 33 North Carolina mail ballots is being rejected so far this fall, double the 2022 rate. In the Charlotte and Winston-Salem counties, rejections are running as high as 7 to 8%. The new rule: if the inner envelope isn’t sealed, the ballot is thrown out. A Republican board member said on Sept. 4 that the voter experience “will not change.” Until that day, a ballot like that still counted.

This video isn’t real, but it’s not unrealistic anymore. The Trump administration’s attempts to threaten and intimidate the American public over false claims of rigged elections and threats of declaring national emergencies won’t work. Trump famously said that he would either win the election or it was rigged…. Only dictators talk like that. We don’t put up with dictators in America. Nobody has the right to intimidate your vote 🗳️

The Republicans know what’s coming and are trying to hide Trump from the spotlight. Good luck with that 😂 The damage is done.

How dystopian is it that they are drowning out calls to release the Epstein files by chanting “USA USA” ?

Why is the Trump administration obsessed with putting armed guards and federal agents at polling sites? What kind of country do they think this is? The American people won’t be intimidated by these shows of force. Only a weak leader tries to scare the people into compliance.

Checking in on MAGA before midterms: Kicking out supporters asking for the Epstein files to be released while accusing them of being illegal because they aren’t white. Surely a winning message.
wow -- a protester directly behind Vance gets up and yells "release the Epstein files!" Vance suggest he's an illegal immigrant.

The Senate voted 86–11 to make Putin pay for his war. Trump signed it into law Sept. 18. Oct. 7, Putin's birthday, he told reporters he had a call set up. Oct. 9 he thanked Putin on camera for a diesel deal. Oct. 15 he said Zelensky is harder to deal with than Putin. On Friday, two days before the law took effect, he waived every Russia provision in it. His Energy Secretary called it "a carrot for Russia." A year ago, the same man said buying Russian oil meant giving money to a guy "murdering thousands of people every week." Diesel was $6.33 a gallon Friday. Putin got a birthday call, a thank-you and a waiver.
