The logic of this campaign’s haters is truly astounding. We’re not calling G6’s music AI-generated because we dislike it; we’re calling it AI-generated because that’s exactly what it sounds like. This isn’t the W you think it is.

G6 is clearly just piggybacking off the success of G4 even more than G5 was. If Hasbro is so afraid to leave G4 behind, they should go back to it for real and give its media a better ending already. That would be a far more popular and profitable decision than any half-reboot.

Sounds generic and possibly AI-generated. MLP music used to be special. They shouldn’t be doing any of this.

Twilight and Cadance were artificial alicorns and never meant to be immortal

More generic AI-sounding stuff from Hasbro these days. MLP needs to return to what works. They have to go back to G4 and give it a decent ending.

This is so applicable to the ending of MLP: FiM.

lol just because there’s a confirmed 2027 release for G6 doesn’t mean they’re not using AI to make it, dude. Hasbro’s ceo has glazed AI repeatedly, and some of this G6 music sounds AI-generated.

Sigh, @Hasbro still can’t differentiate G4 from G6. They should just bring back and fix G4 if they want MLP to succeed again.

This whole comic is an insult to the quality of FiM and the intelligence of its fans. Canon is everything, and instead of owning up to their mistakes and doing better, they went and made excuses and treated fans who care about consistency like the bad guys.

The bad always outweighs the good in Season 9 and beyond. There’s no reason to be grateful when they ruined everything in the end like this. It’s a bad joke.

How can anyone have fun knowing that the writers and artists think we’re so stupid? This guy is completely right, canon and consistency matter, especially for a high-quality series like FiM. This comics and Season 9 need to be redone.

I’d call it a lazy and disingenuous way of excusing the retcons and inconsistencies between the show and comics and bashing fans who care about that. Of all the post-S9 comics, this one needs a complete redo.

Badass for sure, but that doesn’t overshadow what’s wrong with this whole scene, episode, storyline or season.

This is not how you should end a series like Equestria Girls. It’s not even how it was supposed to end. Please continue and properly conclude it, @Hasbro.

Thank you, MLP-Trinary, for really reading and absorbing our talking points on Celestia’s retirement. It’s one of many reasons Season 9 should be revised. We hope this means many other fans understand what we’re talking about.

It’s moments like this when you remember how great Equestria Girls is, and how untimely its ending was. They need to give it another go and a proper finale.
