Banking history, since you raised it:
• In 1969 Indira Gandhi ji nationalised 14 banks, and 6 more in 1980.
• Between 1969 and 1990, branches grew from 8,262 to nearly 60,000, and the rural share went from 17.6% to 58.2%.
• Banking reached villages, farmers, traders and ordinary citizens.
A legacy you conveniently leave out.
Now your government's record:
• ₹12.08 lakh crore in loans written off by public sector banks between 2015-16 and 2024-25.
• IDBI Bank, "revived" with public money, is being handed to a foreign private entity.
• Fairfax bid ₹81 a share when the market price was ₹90.40, nearly 10% lower. The earlier round couldn't even meet the ₹94.42 reserve price.
Public banks were built with public money, public deposits and the sweat of their employees. You can't claim credit for reviving them and then sell them off.
Answer on IDBI, Madam. Don't hide behind Pt. Nehru and Indira ji.
We all know how @INCIndia has used Banks and financial institutions as personal entities and pressured bank employees to extend loans at their whim, bypassing prudent lending norms.
Let me list a few instances.
- In 1957, Haridas Mundra got money from LIC due to influence by the Congress leaders.
- In 1976, Indira Gandhi's government removed SBI Chairman R.K. Talwar after he refused political pressure to relax lending conditions for a company linked to Sanjay Gandhi's circle.
- Sanjay Gandhi pressured the Central Bank of India over loans to Maruti.
- B. Janardhana Poojary, MoS Finance under Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi — pressured bank employees to issue loans in the 1980s.
- Pawan Kumar Bansal, as a minister in the UPA, pressured Canara Bank to give loans to his family-linked businesses.
The IDBI Bank was handed over to us in poor shape, as IDBI itself was forced to lend to large business groups with close connections to @INCIndia leaders such as Videocon, Winsome, ABG Shipyard, Kingfisher, etc. These turned into bad loans, causing huge losses for IDBI Bank, which we recognised.
The NDA govt led by Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi revived the IDBI bank through professionalism, prudence and recapitalisation of more than Rs 25,000 crores. The IDBI Bank is now poised for its next phase of growth.
All due process has been followed in the IDBI Bank strategic restructuring, and we have already clarified this yesterday.

माइक्रोसॉफ्ट जैसी कंपनी 60,000 कर्मचारियों को निकाल रही है। जो निकाले जा रहे हैं, वो कहाँ जा रहे हैं, पता नहीं। स्टार्ट अप के नाम पर गाड़ी स्टार्ट हो रही है या यह भी एक बहाना जैसा बनता जा रहा है। स्टार्ट अप के लिए इतने अवसर हैं तो बड़ी कंपनियाँ 60,000 को निकालती क्यों? वो भी अपने भीतर स्टार्ट अप क्रिएट कर सकती हैं। उन्हें नए और छोटे अवसरों से बैर तो है नहीं। आई टी मंत्री को बताना चाहिए कि सरकार ने ऐसा कुछ अध्ययन किया है? नए अवसर कहाँ बन रहे हैं? किस स्तर के बन रहे हैं? भारत भर में फैले बी और सी ग्रेड के इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों में लाखों की फीस देकर पढ़ने वाले छात्रों को क्या करना चाहिए?
आई टी मंत्रालय को सोशल मीडिया के पोस्ट हटवाना छोड़ ये सब ज़रूरी काम करने चाहिए। सरकार को इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों के ऐसे कोर्स तुरंत बंद कर देने चाहिए जिनका कोई भविष्य नहीं है। वरना नोएडा से लेकर मेरठ तक में फैले औसत और बेहद ख़राब इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज सपना बेच कर लाखों रुपये ठगते रहेंगे। माँ-बाप भी इस उम्मीद में बच्चों को भेजते रहेंगे कि कुछ न कुछ हो जाएगा। उन्हें सच्चाई बताई जाए नहीं तो ज़मीन बेच कर, लोन लेकर इंजीनियरिंग पढ़ाने की ज़िद उनके परिवार को और ग़रीब कर देगी। इन कॉलेजों का कुछ नहीं बिगड़ रहा है।इस लूट पर तुरंत रोक लगनी चाहिए।
धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के इस्तीफ़े के बाद अख़बार में ख़बर छपी थी कि बीजेपी जेन ज़ी से संवाद बढ़ाएगी। अपने मंत्रियों को कॉलेजों में भेजेगी। कितने मंत्री गए हैं? इस देश में जितने कबाड़ कॉलेज ज़िले ज़िले में फैले हैं, दुनिया के किसी भी देश में रद्दी कॉलेजों की इतनी भरमार नहीं होगी। जानबूझ कर कबाड़ किया गया है, औसत मास्टर भरे गए हैं ताकि भारत की जवानी अपनी कहानी लिखने लायक भी न रहे। दो चार की सफल कहानियाँ सुना-सुना कर सबको सुलाते रहो। भारत के युवाओं को बर्बाद किया है शिक्षा मंत्रियों ने। शिक्षा सचिवों ने। वाइस चांसलरों ने। पर्ची से भरे गए अयोग्य शिक्षकों ने। इस कड़वी सच्चाई से इंकार कर कोई फायदा नहीं है। हम सब देख रहे हैं कि खराब शिक्षा ने भारत की क्षमता को औसत कर दिया है। हर आदमी अपनी क्षमता से 70 प्रतिशत कम पर प्रदर्शन कर रहा है। केवल शिक्षा नहीं है, घूस से लेकर टैक्स का सिस्टम, फर्ज़ी केस में फंसाने का विधिवत सिस्टम भी भारत की क्षमता को नीचे कर रहा है।
हम इन सभी का ईमानदारी से मूल्यांकन नहीं कर पाएंगे। इसकी क्षमता भी समाप्त हो चुकी है। आप इतने सारे वाइस चांसलर को रातों रात बर्ख़ास्त नहीं कर सकते। मंत्रिमंडल में बदलाव की ख़बर मई के महीने से ही चल रही है, उसी में इतना चैलेंज है। अगर राष्ट्रपति और राज्यपाल एक साथ सभी वाइस चांसलरों को SACK कर दें, माइक्रो सॉफ्ट की तरह तो कितना बड़ा संदेश जाएगा। इतने सारे वाइस चांसलर को बर्ख़ास्त करने का मतलब होगा कि आर एस एस को बर्ख़ास्त कर देना। RSS को ही यह काम करना चाहिए। देखना चाहिए उससे निकटता के नाम पर कितने अयोग्य लोग चांसलरी का सुख प्राप्त कर रहे हैं। संघ यह काम कर देगा तो उसकी शाखा में जाने के लिए कोई बचेगा नहीं। संघ में साहस नहीं कि जिसे अपनी निष्ठा के नाम पर वाइस चांसलर बनाया है, उससे पूछे कि पाँच साल में आपके कॉेलेज ने क्या किया क्योंकि पूछेगा तो क्या पूछेगा, और चांसलर क्या बताएगा? यही कि संस्कृति पर इतने कार्यक्रम किए, इतने प्रचारकों को बुलाया। बात इसकी नहीं है, सेमिनार की लिस्ट मत दीजिए, बताइये कि पढ़ाई का स्केल कितना सुधरा है। भारतीयकरण के नाम पर शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता में कोई सुधार नहीं आया है। विचारों पर अंकुश लगाने के तरीके अपनाकर यूनिवर्सिटी सिस्टम को बर्बाद कर दिया गया। इस सच्चाई का सामना कीजिए कि भारत रद्दी कॉलेजों का महादेश बन कर रह गया है। पहले भी नहीं किया, आज भी नहीं कर रहा है और कल भी अपनी क्षमता के उच्चतम स्तर पर प्रदर्शन नहीं करेगा।
एक आसान रास्ता भी है। हर कॉलेज में भजन क्लबिंग शुरू कर देनी चाहिए। हर दिन पहली कक्षा भजन क्लबिंग की हो, हर महीने भजन क्लबिंग का बड़ा कार्यक्रम हो। जिसमें ख़राब गाने वाले गायकों और तुकबंदी करने वाले कवियों को खूब पैसा देकर बुलाया जाए जो भजन के माधुर्य को ख़त्म कर क्लब का यौवन दे सकें। भाई लोग उपनिवेशवाद से लड़ रहे थे, कोलोनियल माइंडसेट से लड़ रहे थे, शिक्षा का भारतीयकरण कर रहे थे और भजन का क्लबीकरण करने लग गए। एक हिन्दी नाम तक नहीं मिला, संस्कृत तो छोड़िए। जेन ज़ी जवानियों को लुभाने के लिए पूरब के गिलास में पश्चिम नहीं,पश्चिम के गिलास में पूरब को मिला दिया। सुधा शरबत की जगह जिंजर मिक्स मोइतो बना रहे हो तुम लोग। ख़ूब समझते हैं। भजन की आत्मा क्लब में मुक्ति पा रही है और भारत का युवा थर्ड क्लास कॉलेज में एडमिशन लेकर थर्ड क्लास पढ़ाई करते हुए राष्ट्रवाद का परचम लहरा रहा है। जो मन में आए, करो, लेकिन बात यही है।

A humble Muslim delivery man shows up to do work at this Hindu woman's house in India. His azan app goes off at the prayer time. She proceeds to deliver him a humiliating lecture ON VIDEO and posts it to the whole world.
She yells at him that it's her Hindu festival today and that his azan went off, as if he did it on purpose. The service sector man hangs his head, apologizes repeatedly, and she harangues him ON VIDEO like a vile breed of creature unknown to humanity - then she yells at him "Stop this dominance!"
She yells at him for having consumed tobacco before arrival (what, now you're going to discipline every delivery guy for his personal habits??) She claims that the azan is all about dominance: when he starts to protest, she says "I'm a Kashmiri Pandit, I know Urdu, I know all about this."
This kind of genocidally hateful person apparently now constitutes a majority of India and if I were to say what should happen to her, I would be banned. This video is harassment and bullying and should be taken down. May God comfort your heart, Khalid, we stand with you. This is absolutely wrong and you do not deserve any of this garbage.

साथियों, यह त्योहार का मौसम है, लेकिन इस समय आप कमरतोड़ महँगाई से जूझ रहे है। पर सरकार को इसकी बिल्कुल भी चिंता नहीं, क्योंकि वह सिर्फ़ वोट चोरी करना जानते है। वोट चोरी बड़े पैमाने पर हुई है और अब भी हो रही है।
करोड़ों भारतीयों का मत देने का संवैधानिक हक़ ख़तरे में है। इसके लिए CEC ज्ञानेश कुमार ही ज़िम्मेदार है। उन्होंने यह सब कुछ प्रधानमंत्री और गृहमंत्री के कहने पर किया है।
सभी विपक्षी दलों की माँगे है :
· ज्ञानेश कुमार इस्तीफ़ा दें
· SIR प्रक्रिया को तत्काल रोका जाए
इसी सिलसिले में 1 नवंबर को नई दिल्ली के रामलीला मैदान में "वोट बचाओ, देश बचाओ" महा रैली होगी।
आप से अपील है कि संविधान और लोकतंत्र को बचाने के लिए, इस रैली में बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा ले और इस मुहिम को सफल बनाए।
