In terms of money-for-value the latter is obvious answer & would be so great if there was the return of Lucky Oceans whose thoughtful compilation of world music was always great to listen to after Late Night Live. @latenight @RadioNational @Save_RN_Music #saveourabc #auspol

Surprise surprise.. you just can’t trust the Coalition with the ABC, they cut its funding, undermine its independence and would sell it if they could @sinddyealy smh.com.au/federal-election-…

Bravo @sinddyealy!
The @CPSUnion ABC secretary @sinddyealy up now at inquiry. She says ABC is not just news. Its cultural agency is often overlooked. The cuts have come from @RadioNational and production.
Culture is an election issue. #auspol #dontkilllivemusic
We concur 😊
Absolutely BRILLIANT to hear curated roots & folk music (featuring independent Australian artists and festivals) on #ABC radio once again! Congrats @SarahHowells and @DoubleJRadio Looking forward to future shows.

Gah! 😖
If you love and care about Australian music consider this. Scott Morrison released a play list on Spotify today. 146 songs, 92 artists, 11 hours of music. Guess how many Australian bands?

There used to be a number of very fine & respected music programs on Australia’s Radio National network. Nearly all of them have been axed. The music sector has suffered since. Thanks @Save_RN_Music @KKeneally and others for taking up the matter:- #savernmusic @Fordwritesmusic
Huge appreciation from music lovers and artists to Senator @KKeneally for raising the issue of the lack of genre music coverage on ABC @RadioNational 2 years on and the decision to axe these programs continues to hurt musicians, industry and audiences. #estimates #auspol
